Hoover Dam

One of the most amazing sites that we have seen has been the huge display of engineering at the Hoover Dam.

New Orleans

There is not much that has not been said about this amazing city. Marina and spent most of yesterday watching the US Women lose a heartbreaking championship match against Japan yesterday. We watched it in a small pub just off Bourbon Street. While there we met two young couples from Missouri who were also doing a road trip. They invited us to Patrick Obrien's for a Hurricane. The rain came down in buckets and the humidity felt a lot like Guatemala.

Amarillo Texas

One of the most friendly and truly laid back places we visited was Amarillo Texas. We stayed in a small adobe and rock house nestled in the Palo Duro Canyon. We explored the small town of Canyon...I even got a hairt cut and shave, and then took in a western show.
